For those of you who haven’t heard, I’m very happy to tell you that “It Can Wait” was certified Gold by ARIA on Oct 28! It’s so crazy because it went gold on the one year anniversary of The Chase being released. Like, to the day. Hecticccc.. Anyway, as much as I would like to take the credit, it is entirely the result of you guys supporting it, so many (at least 35,000) thank you’s to YOU.

I have been in the studio with Phizzle pretty flat out working on shit for the next album (coming mid 2012) and it is really, REALLY coming along well. Can’t wait to get some more stuff out. If you’ve been to one of the recent shows we’ve done you will have heard a very early version of one of the tunes. Well, there are about 5 other ones in various stages of completion, and they all sound pretty awesome. So yeah, watch this space.

We ended the most recent tour in Melbourne last weekend, on the one year anniversary/day of gold, to a huge crowd at The Palace. This tour was one that set a few new records for attendances, but Melbourne represented like a hometown should, and we ended up with the most attended local hiphop show in Melbourne for 2012, outside of the juggernaut that is Bliss n Eso.

It was a huge night, a rad afterparty, and generally just great to be home amongst my people. That said, Sydney deserves a massive shout out as well for turning it on in such a huge way for us. In fact, everywhere on the tour – ADL, Hobart, Townsville, Brisbane, Newcastle, Gold Coast, Canberra, and Syd and Melb – deserve a mention and a thank you. MENTION AND THANK YOU. Will be back for a BIG national tour when the album is released.
